Funeral services for Ruby Marie Gibbs, 59, af Alexandria were held Saturday May 20, 2000 at 2.p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown, TN. Bro. Steve Waller officiated with burial followinf at Hillview Cemetery.
Mrs. Gibbs died Thursday, May 18, 2000 at Baptist DeKalb Hospital. She was a homemaker and attended Long Branch Community Church.
She was the daughter of Jesse York and Annie Katherine Baker York, and a son, James Allen Gibbs.

Survivors include her husband,Lawrence Wendell Gibbs
of ALexandria; two daughters, Ruby Scott of Alexndria and Angela Davis of Lebanon; seven sons, Lawrence York of Hartsville, Charles Ray Gibbs of Alexandria, Terry Gibbs of Lebanon, Timothy Gibbs of Alexandria, Marvin Gibbs, Wendell Lee Gibbs of Alexandria, Wendell Lee Gibbs of Dowelltown, and Larry Gibbs of Lebanon.; 15 grandchildren and; three sisters, Katherine Evans, Judy Key, Marline Freeman,all of Red Boiling Springs, two brothers, Charles York and Gene York both of Red Boiling Springs.

Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown was in charge of arrangements.
