Beverly A. Perkins, 73, of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at her residence.
She was born May 28, 1943 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Denver and Addie (Gilliam) Brown.
Beverly was a member of the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church and served as a Sunday School teacher for 50 years. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and a dear friend to all.
On Aug. 3, 1967, she was united in marriage to Pastor Wiley Perkins, who survives. She is also survived by two sons; and one brother of Dayton.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Brown; and a sister, Carolyn Brown.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Springfield. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church.
The Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
