Dorothy Ruth Morris was born September 29, 1923 to Thomas Lou "Tommy) Morris and Julia Etta Frazier Morris. She was the youngest of three siblings, her brothers were Frazier Morris and Thomas Morris. Ruth married George Hall Alred on July 2, 1946 and together they had four children, Sherry Lynn Alred (Carter, Kenneth Wayne Alred, Vicki Darlene Alred (Vaughn) and Martha Catherine Alred (Willingham). Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Thomas and her husband George. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
