George Hall Alred was born September 6, 1923 to George William Alred and Lexie Mae Goggans Alred. He was the oldest of six children, one older sister was stillborn. His siblings were Sara Alred (Bradshaw), James Fred Alred, Martha Jean Alred (Mcdowell), Joan Alred (Jackson) and Jane Alred (Warren). He married Dorothy Ruth Morris on July 2,1946 to together they had four children, Sherry Lynn Alred (Carter), Kenneth Wayne Alred, Vicki Darlene Alred (Vaughn) and Martha Catherine Alred (Willingham). George was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Fred and his stillborn sibling. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
