Karelee was born and raised in Shelby where she graduated from high school. She married Doug Allen in 1958. They had two sons, Scott and Park Allen. The family lived in Great Falls from 1963 until 1974. After Karelee and Doug divorced, Karelee graduated from Montana State University with a BS in Microbiology. She worked for Montana Grain until she became a drug representative for Merck Pharmaceuticals. She worked with doctors and hospital staff all over Montana and was recognized by Merck for excellence in her profession.
Karelee retired to Camano Island, Wash. in 1997. While living there she became involved with the Senior Center, worked in the community and taught Bridge to anyone willing to learn. She attained her Bridge Master along the way.
She is survived by her two sons; sister; and five grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by her parents James C. and Marian MacGregor and her brother Ian J. MacGregor.
