In her younger years Billie loved to roller-skate, take walks, go to garage sales, enjoyed maps and books. Billie loved her animals, her cats “Pepper and Mickey” and her dog named “Bear”, which gave her companionship. Later in life and she treasured her long conversations with her Sisters.
Billie Jean is survived by her daughter Kathy Payne and husband Gregg of Stillwater, Oklahoma, her son Larry Stewart and wife Leslie of Scottsdale, Arizona, daughter Karen Canfield and husband Lance of Oklahoma City, and sister Darlene Chaney and husband Bruce of Oklahoma City, grandchildren: Michael Payne and wife Traci, Bryce Payne and wife Erin, Kelby Stewart and wife Tracey, James Stewart, Charlie Stewart and wife Trista, Bobby Dollar and Jennifer Nobles and husband Damon Gates. Great-grandchildren: Nichols, Christopher, Samantha Payne, Shelby Payne and husband Yacob Hawkins, Parker, Elliot, Michaela Payne, Cooper Stewart , Sydnee Fijolek, Desirae Nobles, Elias Gates, Tristen McCormick, Courtney Dyer, Corbin, Cameron, Caitlyn, Cole Stewart, John and Kye Stewart. One great-great-grandchild, Lyrik Hawkins. Billie Jean is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents James Marshall and Burney Mae (Cain) Clancy , sisters Joyce Lee Clancy and Glenna Faye Thompson (Clancy) and brother Donnie Clancy
Graveside Services for Billie are scheduled for Friday, May 12, 2017, 3:00 p.m. at the Poarch Cemetery with Scott Devore officiating.
Viewing for Billie will begin 1:00p.m. until 8:00p.m., Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home, located at 1400 West Main, Lone Wolf, 580-846-9018.
