William was a retired civil service construction employee and husband of Rosa Turner. He was the late son of the late Wesley Turner and Emma Shelton Turner (natives of Warren County, GA). He was a memeber of Payne Chapel Methodist Church and the Woodmen of the World. He died from an extended illness brought on by complications from a stroke.
