Married Hazel M. Bedwell Reed Aug. 14, 1983 at Crawfordsville. She survives at Rockville.
Also surviving are children John P. Staggs and Deanna L. Stabler; step-daughter Phyllis Jean West; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-son Michael Demoret, two sisters and three brothers.
1955 graduate of Union Township High School.
Served in the US Army.
Retired from RR Donnellys after 35 years.
