Nicholas loved the fine arts, theater, music, and movies. He had a passion for reading, and was an eloquent writer. He also loved to cook and share new recipes with his family and friends. We will miss his smile and his infectious laugh. He spent 3 years at Conception Abby, two years at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary getting his Bachelor's in Philosophy, then studied at Pontificia Università in Rome, Italy and currently was working on his education degree in English Literature.
Nicholas is survived by his parents, Ron and Denise Roberts; his sister Christi VanHorn and her spouse Marty VanHorn; his brother Mark Roberts and his spouse Amy Roberts; his nephews Austin and Garrett and nieces Paige and Savannah along with several aunts, an uncle and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Woodford and Joyce Roberts, Louise Hatcher, and nephew Alec Kent.
Funeral services to celebrate his earthly and eternal life will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Laurie, Missouri on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Visitation will be at 5:00pm with a Funeral Mass following at 6:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Mother's Shrine, 176 Marian Dr., Laurie, Missouri 65037
