Doris Pearson (ne Ingels) was born to Swedish immigrant parents in LA on August 15th, 1927, and raised in Hollywood. She married Gordon, her husband of 68 years, in 1949. They had two children, Susan and Richard. Doris worked as a secretary for Tacoma schools for over thirty years. She retired with her husband to their cabin on Mason Lake. A dedicated, life-long Christian, Doris is now with the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon; her son, Rick and his wife, Alana; her son-in-law, Isaac; her grandchildren, Amy, Adam, Christi, Kristina, Drew, and Kathryn; and great grandchildren, Camdyn, Dahlia, Ava, Ainsley, and Arlo. The family would like to thank the staff at Tacoma Lutheran Retirement Community for their service and care for Doris.

There will be a funeral on April 21, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Evergreen Chapel at New Tacoma Cemetery, University Place, WA.
