Randall Willis McClain, Sr., 91, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late David Willis and Ruth Bush McClain. He was a graduate of Boy's High School and attended Clemson College. He was retired office manager of R.N. Kelly Cotton Company, Inc. Randall was an avid supporter of Clemson Athletics and served as an IPTAY representative for many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon and taught in the 3 year-old Sunday School for over 50 years.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Jeanne Bolt McClain of the home; daughter, Jeanne M. Cox of Belton; two sons, Randy McClain and Bolt McClain of Anderson; brother, Kenneth H. McClain and wife, Tommie of Greenville; sister-in-law, Betty McClain of Aiken; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise M. Banks and Rebecca M. Benjamin; brother, Ned B. McClain; and a son-in-law, Jimmy R. Cox.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, May 8, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Dr. James R. Thomason. Burial will follow in Old Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. The family is at the residence.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Carolyn Johnson and Amanda "Mandy" Gaines for their love, support and excellent care given to Randall during his illness.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 307 South Manning Street, Anderson, SC 29624 or Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
