Benjamin Howard Cox, 15, was welcomed in the arms of Jesus on Friday, April 28, 2017.

Son of Derek and Angie Brown Cox of the home.

A sophomore at Byrnes High School where he previously played for the Rebels Baseball team and was currently attending Grace Bible Church.

Ben was an athlete and outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his time fishing and hunting. He was a faithful servant, a great son and brother, who was caring and always willing to help others. Ben loved God, his family, his school and many friends.

Survivors include four sisters, Allison, Ashley, Amanda and Anna Cox, all of the home; grandparents, Frank and Vicki Cox of Reidville, Eulon and Patricia Brown of Duncan; a great-grandmother, June Cox of Reidville.

Funeral Services were held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Duncan First Baptist Church with Pastor Andrew Franseen officiating.

The family received friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service. Burial was held at Wood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, gifts could be sent to Grace Bible Church for the Tee-Ball Ministry located at 107 West Road, Moore, SC 29369.
