Minnie Louisa Healy Palmer, 59 136 W. 8th S., Orem, died Tuesday in the Utah Valley Hospital of a liver ailment. She was born May 29, 1912, in Orem, to John Franklin and Edith Mary Hill Healy. She married James Ellis Palmer on May 15, 1933, in the Salt Lake Temple, and he died June 16, 1966.

Mrs. Palmer was employed in the Alpine School District lunch program. Active in the LDS Church, she was president of the Relief Society and in the Primary presidency, taught Primary and Sunday School and was on the stake Sunday School board.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Mrs. John (Joy Edith) Cornish and Mrs. William (Carol Louise) McClain, Salt Lake City; James Healy Palmer, American Fork; Ellis Wayne Palmer, serving an LDS mission in El Paso, Tex.; her father, Orem; 14 grandchildren; five brothers, Russell Healy, Oregon; Glen Healy, Leslie Healy, Lester Healy, and Roy Healy, all of Orem.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Orem Fourth Ward Chapel, 575 S. 4th W. Friends may call at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary in Orem, 495 S. State, Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday one hour before services. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
