On August 17, 1941, Esteve "Pashun" Prejean, Jr. was born to the late Mr. Esteve Prejean, Sr. and Mary Batiste. He was born and raised in Lafayette, LA. Esteve was a long time employer of Lafayette General Medical Center for 30 plus years. And in 2009 he retired from a job he loved.
Esteve departed this life at 3:15 p. m. Saturday April 29, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. He leaves to mourn his memory a daughter, Keisha Prejean of Houston, TX and a son, Marcus Prejean of New Iberia, LA; two granddaughters Cori Prejean and Jasmine Tucker of Houston, TX; a great grandson Karsen Daigle of Houston, TX; two sisters Carrie Thibeaux of Lafayette, LA and Verna Prejean of Los Angeles, CA; brothers Wilson (Connie) of New Orleans, LA; Willis (Faye) of Vancouver, WA; Clarence (Sylvia) of Lafayette, LA; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Jane Prejean, his parents Esteve and Mary Prejean, Sr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law Peter and Mable Francis, Sr.; his sister Bertha Comeaux; brother John Prejean; two sister-in-laws Anna Lee and Roseline Francis; two brother- in- laws Peter Francis, Jr. and Gabriel Savoy.
