Becky Jane Hamilton passed away, unexpectedly, on May 2, 2017 in Oklahoma City.

She was raised in Oklahoma City and was a 1978 Graduate of John Marshall High School.

Becky was born on October 9, 1960, in Oklahoma City, to J.C. and Merle (Landrum) Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Becky is survived by her sister, Terri Dearing and husband, Russell; her brother David Hamilton and wife, Debra; Nieces, Susan Kester and husband, Lee Pearce, Sarah Kester and husband, Chance; Meadow Dearing, Blythe Hamilton and Kamryn Pearce; Nephews, Shane Hamilton and wife, Annie; Christopher Dearing and wife, Sarah; Bryan Dearing and wife, Julie; Skyler Kester, Bodhi Dearing and Nathaniel Pearce "Little Sister", Meagan Reene; and a host of cousins and dear friends.

Becky began her professional career, and worked as a Dental Assistant for several years before becoming a Travel Agent in Oklahoma City. She furthered that career after moving to San Diego in 1988. She worked for Balboa Travel in San Diego and after a promotion, was in charge of the computer training of their employees at all of their many locations. Becky returned to Oklahoma City in 1996 and began working for AOL, in their Customer Service Department.

She began Creature Comforts, a pet sitting service, in 2003. Becky never met an animal she didn't love. They were her "children".

Becky loved all of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.

She was a friend of Bill W. for over twelve years, helping countless people, and would do anything for anyone, always seeing the good side of everyone.

After joining St. Luke's Methodist Church, Becky became very active with Meals on Wheels and the pet ministry of the church.

Becky was always "the life of the party" with her quick wit and humor.

Even though Becky was the baby of the family, we all knew to toe the line when we were around her, and she was always the planner of the family events.

Becky was greatly loved, and will truly be missed by her family and many friends.

Memorial service Tuesday, May 9th, 1 pm, at Watchorn Chapel, St. Luke's Methodist Church, 222 NW 15th, OKC.

Becky's request is that all memorials be made to Free to Live Animal Sanctuary, Edmond, OK; OKC Humane Society; St. Luke's Church Meals on Wheels; or St. Luke's Church Pet Ministry.
