John Richard Crouch 87 of Indianapolis, IN died May 03, 2017. John was born in Hadley, IN on May 03, 1930 to Luther Allison and Gladys Ethel (Bartholomew) Crouch. John graduated from New Winchester High School class of 1948. He served our country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict where he attached to the 306 Field Hospital. John was a member of the Clermont Christian Church, Clermont Lions Club, Englewood Masonic Lodge #715, American Legion Wayne Post #64, and Indianapolis Transportation Club. John worked for the Nickel Plate Railroad then for Yellow Freight Trucking CO as a sales manager before becoming an independent broker where he owned and operated Mark VII Transportation Service retiring in 2000. John was one of nine children and he was preceded in death by his siblings Glen, Charles, Edmond and Harold Crouch and Pearl Bowen, Vera Jarrett and Betty Stark. Calling will be held on Sunday May 07, 2017 at Clermont Christian Church 9204 Crawfordsville Road Clermont from 2 to 8 pm with additional calling on Monday May 08, 2017 from 9 to 10 with the funeral at 10 am at church. John is survived by his wife Judy E. (Head) Crouch, son; Mark (Angela) Crouch, grandson; Kisle (Allison) Crouch, great grandchildren; Lily and Aiden Crouch and his sister; Carolyn (James Earl) Caudill. Memorial contributions may be given to the Clermont Christian Church. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
