Professional Basketball Player. For nine seasons (1966 to 1975), he played at the power-forward position in the National Basketball Association with the Boston Celtics, San Diego Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, Kansas City-Omaha Kings, Philadelphia 76ers and New Orleans Jazz. Born Thomas Kimball, he made his initial mark on the basketball court at Belmont High School in Massachusetts and later played collegiate basketball at the University of Connecticut. While with the Huskies, he established himself as one of the school's all time greats in rebounding. He was a key contributor to the Connecticut team for which reached the "Final Eight" during the 1964 NCAA Tournament. Selected by the Celtics during the 3rd round of the 1965 NBA Draft, he totaled 571 career regular season games. During the 1966-1967 season while with the San Diego Rockets, he produced a career high 947 total rebounds and 889 points. After retiring from basketball, he worked for a food distribution company and later was a clothing salesman.
