Vera Christine (Ferrell) Morrison, 86, of Brady, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, in Brady. A private family memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Initial arrangements were under the care of Heritage Funeral Home. Christine was born March 24, 1927, in Pear Valley, to Alec Franklin Ferrell and Ida Grace (Nance) Ferrell. She moved to McCulloch County from Ballinger in 1948 and had been a resident ever since. Christine enjoyed gardening and grew both flowers and vegetables. She liked to crochet and loved to read, having read through the entire Louis L'Amour series several times. Christine was preceded in death by her parents; three spouses, Richard F. Eller, Vernon Louis Seward and Delma Ellis Morrison; one daughter, Judy Christine Seward and three sisters, Helen, Kay and Sue. Survivors include three daughters, Virginia Gay Davis of Glen Rose, Rickie Fay Owens and Tommie Gwen Jones and husband, Johnny, both of Brady; seven grandchildren, Samantha Ellen Bridges and husband, Kenneth, Terresa Gwen Locklear and husband, Dae, Jennifer Gae Frost, Christy Lou Wilson and husband, Drew, Matthew Todd Jones and wife, Sherry, Jeffrey Allan Luedecke and wife, Michelle and Brad Franklin Jones, and wife, Megan, 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
