Bobby Ray "Totsy" Roddy, 78, passed away Sunday April 30th in St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Gonzales. Mr. Roddy was a carpenter by trade and belonged to Carpenters Local # 1098. Totsy loved his girls, he loved his puppy Lily, he loved building things, he enjoyed his garden, and he really loved his roses.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 58 years; Mrs. Julia Broussard Roddy, his daughters; Julie Ann (Randall Broussard), Bobbie Jean (Dean Elisar), Becky Ann (Ken Blanchard), his sisters; Regina Gore, Lucille Cedatol, Martha Cleveland, brother; Roy Roddy, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Roddy is preceded in death by his parents; Richard and Ida Cambre Roddy, 7 brothers and 2 sisters. Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Visitation will began today May 2, at 5 to 9 pm and resume on Wednesday May 3 from 9am to service time at 11am, in Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales, Fr. Jerry Martin will officiate. Burial will follow at Hope Haven Cemetery in Prairieville, La under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home. Those who may not be able to attend can express words of condolences at www.oursofh.com
