Mrs. Fowler was born June 15, 1924, in Morganton, NC, to the late Mills Pinckney Clark and Amanda Dale Clark and passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Greenwood Dairy and was a loyal member of Cayce Church of the Nazarene.
Mrs. Fowler graduated from Morganton High School in North Carolina in 1942. She and her sister, Hester, worked in Charleston, SC, at the Navy yard during the war, where they lived with their older sister, Pansy, and her husband, Joe Hodgens.
Mrs. Fowler enjoyed gardening and putting a good meal on the table for visitors. She treasured her family and was a true, gentle southern lady. She also enjoyed bowling and earned many trophies.
Mrs. Fowler is survived by her niece, Joe Gail Uscenski and her husband, Chet, of Burlington, NJ; great-nieces, Amanda and Jennifer; nephew, Randy Hodgens, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Harold E. Fowler.
