June 10, 1932 to Oct. 22, 2016Robin passed away at home the morning of October 22nd, at the age of 84. Robin was born in Bryn Mawr, Washington to parents Henry Eugene (Gene) Ellis and Florence Zuppe Ellis. She was raised on Hood Canal near Belfair, Washington and attended school at South Kitsap.Robin married Raymond Philip Andersen on Dec. 21, 1951. The family moved to Hood Canal near Olympic View in 1961, where they raised their five children. When they retired, they moved to Port Townsend, where they lived for many years before moving to Bremerton.Robin worked for Central Kitsap High School as a cook for 20 years. She loved to read and travel, taking many extended trips across North America.She is survived by her husband, Raymond; and four of their five children: Therese L., Eugene F. "Gene", Richard T. "Doc" (deceased), Scott E. and Eric R. Andersen; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Services for Robin will be held Nov. 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton.
