Abigail was the daughter of Abijah Booth.

Many details of the travels of Isaac and Abigail can be surmised by the events in thier lives. Thier first four children, according to census reports were born in New York [1833-1842]. Lydia's obituary briefly describes thier journey westward. In 1847 Lucinda was born in Michigan where they spent "a few years" prior to moving on to Wisconsin. According to Abram Charles' death certificate [Book 6, Faribault County, MN], he was born in Sheboygan, WI. The 1850 census finds them in Jefferson Co., WI, town of Concord. Hezekiah was reported to have been born in Sun Prarie, WI in 1852, and lastly, Mary Louisa was born at Pleasant Grove in 1856. Abijah's death certificate states his arrival in MN as 1 Jun 1855. They farmed is Olmsted County for a number of years. The History of Olmsted County states they farmed in Blue Earth County from about 1865-1879. While they may have farmed in Blue Earth County, they owned land in Faribault Co., Walnut Lake Twp., and appeared on the 1875 census there.
