She retired from the University of North Alabama. After retirement she served with her husband, Bill as volunteers with Campers on Mission constructing church building and aiding in disaster relief.
Preceding her in death were her parents, John Wilson Daily and Minnie Lou Daily; brothers, Walter Daily and Wanner Daily (Wylene); sisters, Elta Crowder (John) and Estelle McCaleb (M.B.); brother-in-law, Clyde Aston.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, William “Bill” Brust; children, Nonnie Brust, Debbie (Joe) Priester, and Bill (Debbie) Brust; grandchildren, Katie (Dave) Styblo, Joe (Christy) Priester and Davis Priester; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Max Priester and Patrick, Taylor, and Will Styblo;sister, Ivadelle Aston; and many nieces and nephews.
