DETROIT, Mich.- Anderson Robinson, Sr., 80, of 8097 Indiana St., . died on Dec. 17, 2007, at 1303 Henderson Avenue, Greenwood, SC.
He was born in Ninety Six, SC, son of the late Warren and Sallie Monroe Robinson.
He was a member of the True Love Baptist Church, Detroit, MI, where he served as an Usher. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company. He served his country in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma B. Robinson of the home; son, Reverend Anderson (Cynthia) Robinson, Jr. of Greenwood, SC; three brothers, Kenneth (Wilhelmenia) Robinson, Greenwood, Daniel Robinson, Baltimore, and Warren (Ellen) Robinson, Jr., Philadelphia; three sisters, Lillie M. Seigeler, Philadelphia, Gelena Motes, Columbia, and Ruth Harding, Washngton; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be noon Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the Evening Star Memorial Garden.
