Denise passed away from complications due to Diabetes on October 30, 2010. She will be greatly missed.
She was born Denise Darlene Owens on March 20, 1963 in Eugene to Edwin "Barney" Owens and Margaret Wolfe Owens. She graduated from Triangle Lake High School in 1981. Denise worked as a chef at the Heritage Restaurant for some years.
She is survived by her daughter, Cassandra of Triangle Lake; a sister, Carrie Haskins of Eugene; a brother, Lee Owens of Deadwood; an Aunt, Nellie Wolfe Elam of Pinehurst Idaho; 3 nephews: Brian Mitchell, Bradley Mitchell, and Joshua Owens; several great nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin "Barney" and Margaret Wolfe Owens; and her grandparents, Ervin and Clara Petersdorf Wolfe, and Calvin and Ollie Hess Owens.
