Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Mary Ann Terwey, age 81, of St. Cloud. Mary Ann passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 12, 2012 with family at her side. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.

Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue after 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.

Mary Ann was born June 12, 1930 in Richmond, MN to John and Mary (Sand) Hansen. She graduated from St. Boniface High School in 1949. She married John W. Terwey on June 21, 1951. They moved to St. Cloud where she worked at the St. Cloud Hospital as an Admissions Clerk for 36 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Christian Women, Legion of Mary and Women of the Moose. Mary Ann loved playing cards and being surrounded by family.

Mary Ann is survived by her children Mary (Ken) Peka of Golden Valley, Joan (Dan) Boesen of Preston, Janice Terwey of Menifee, CA, Michelle Terwey of Watkins, Cindy (Jim) Lee of Sauk Rapids, John (Faye) Terwey of Buffalo, Julie (Don) Hollenkamp of St. Cloud, Lisa (Brian) Kraemer of Ramsey, Scott (Kathi) Terwey of Foley and Brian (Lana) Terwey of Oak Grove, loved as a daughter Mary Ellen Kerber of Big Lake, 28 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, sister Rose Schwegel of Sartell, brother Lawrence (Marie) Hansen of Cold Spring, and sister-in-laws Donna Hansen, Margaret Hansen, Josephine Terwey, and Jeanette Neu, and brother-in-law Erwin "Ike" (Delphine "Del") Terwey.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband John, granddaughter Tiare Peka, siblings Edward, Roman, Luella Menke, Leo, Andrew, Bernard, Oliva Lardy, Viola Simon, Wilfred, Ervin, Nicholas and Clarence, brother and sister-in-laws Elmer, Roman, Delphin, Leander, Louis, Mary Ann, Julina, Rosalind and Joseph. And special memories for Delores Hansen.
