VIOLET H. WALIZER
Violet H. Walizer, 82, of Ridgemont Manor in Howard, formerly of Salona, died Thursday, September 26, 1996 at her residence.
She was born in Salona on May 19, 1914, a daughter of the late John H. Kramer and Mary Elizabeth Mayes. She was raised by her stepmother, Mae Kramer.
In Howard on March 14, 1933, she married John L. Walizer who died on July 26, 1991.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed making quilts. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Salona.
She is survived by four daughters, Alice J. Seyler of Loganton RD 1, Alma M. Miller of Howard and Sally G. Mazza and Cathy E. Bowman, both of Lock Haven; two sons, John Jr. of Dallastown and Thomas J. of Howard; two sisters, Evelyn Barner and Betty Barlow, both of Mill Hall; two brothers, Lloyd and Charles Kramer, both of Mill Hall; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Allen H.; Edwin L.; and Minor Hugh Walizer.
Her funeral was held at the W Robert Neff Funeral Home in Howard with the Reverend Jack Archer and the Reverend Leatha Archer officiating.
Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Mill Hall.
