Lola Stewart age 90 of Auburn Hills, MI, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017.
Lola was born on March 25, 1927 at Roane Mt., TN, and she grew up in Johnson City, TN. She loved reading books, working puzzles and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Anderson and grandson, Peter Denby.
Lola is survived by a large family, five daughters; Linda (Frank) Dodson, Rita (Johnny) Lawrence, Debbie (Harold) Clason, Donna Vandeberghe and Sandy Delong.
15 grandchildren; Angela (Tom) Pruno, Ernie Dodson, Alfred (Rhonda) Kopp, Kevin (Ingrid) Kopp, Kathy (Todd) Martin, Gena Souter, Shelia (Eric) Warner, Danny Vandeberghe, Alan Vandeberghe, Theresa McNutt, Anthony Verellen, Joey (Renee) Verellen, Katie Wade, Robert (Emilli) Anderson and Jody Anderson. Lola also has 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 11 AM at Mayes Mortuary, with Pastor Allen Shupe officiating. Interment will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10 until 11 AM.
