Charles E. Hogan, Jr., 53 of Swayzee, IN, passed away at 5:41 PM, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born in Marion, IN, on October 27, 1963, the son of Charles E. and Alma Louise Boaz Hogan, Sr. Charles married Theresa Vickers June 3, 1994 and she preceded him in death on September 14, 2008. Charles was an Oak Hill High School graduate and a US Navy Veteran.
He attended the Liberty Baptist Church in Sweetser and was a Letter Carrier with the US Postal Service. An avid fisherman, Charles was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by sons Brandon Hogan and his wife Lena of Marion, IN, Matthew Hogan of Damascus, MD, and Justin Boone of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren Naomi Skye Hogan, Gracie Hogan, Marie Hogan, Emma Grace Hogan and Franklin Hogan; and a sister, Tina Hogan, of Converse, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Theresa, a sister Kristy Hogan and a brother Mike Hogan.
