"One of Older Residents Dies - Mrs Margaret D Brown Had Resided on Bank Street Many Years - Mrs Margaret D Brown, widow of W E Brown, died at 8:15 o'clock last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs T E Burke, 306 Bank street. Although Mrs Brown had been failing since the death of Mr Brown nearly two years ago, she was confined to the bed only about two weeks. Mrs Brown was born in Philadelphia but came to Titusville in early girlhood and had resided here ever since. About 54 years ago she was united in marriage, and for 36 years the Brown homestead had been at 205 Bank street. For the past year the deceased had resided with the daughter. To Mr and Mrs Brown were born the following children who survive: Charles A Brown, Mrs T E Burke and Mrs William T Dalton of Titusville, Mrs Jack Stafford of Niles, O, and W E Brown, Jr, of Sacramento, Cal. There are four grandchildren, Helen and Howard Brown, Willis and Gaynell Dalton. Two brothers, Aubrey Porter of this city and Frank Porter of Pittsburgh, and a sister, Mrs Anna Shawn of Titusville, also survive. Mrs Brown was a kind and loving mother, good neighbor and friend and her passing will be mourned by all who knew her. Arrangements for the funeral services had not been completed last night."
