Norma Jane (Long) Timberlake, 84, of Lanesville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on August 26, 1932 in Edwardsville, Indiana to Ershel and Mable (Kitterman) Long. Norma was a faithful member at Mt Zion Methodist Church in Lanesville, Indiana and retired from the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, Indiana after many years of service. She enjoyed playing the organ and piano at church, sewing, crocheting, writing poetry, gardening, and loved spending time with her family.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Timberlake, her sons, Michael J and Glen R Timberlake. Norma is survived by her loving daughter, Nettie Smith (John), her siblings; Julia Mayfield (Lawrence), Wilma Polen, Louis Long (Helen), Wayne Long, along with 5 grandchildren, and 3 great- grandchildren.
