Lester G. Timberlake
Lester G. Timberlake, 83, Lanesville, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014.
Born May 30, 1930, in Harrison County, he was the son of the late Joseph M. and Esther Lockman Timberlake.
He retired in 1991 from Burt R. Huncilman & Son in New Albany.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Glen Timberlake.
Survivors include by his wife of 63 years, the former Norma J. Long; two children, Michael Timberlake and Nettie Starr Smith; four sisters, Evelyn McRae, Dora Seeley, Rose Davis and Betty Woertz; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial service: At a later date at Mount Zion United Methodist Church near Lanesville with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery. Cremation was chosen.
Arrangements: Newcomer Funeral Home in New Albany.
