He retired from the work of the power plant at the Norfolk State Hospital in 1969. They moved in 1972 to Edwards, Colorado. He was survived by his wife, 4 sons: Victor at Glendale, Arizona; Allen at Gothenburg, Kenneth at Lakewood, Colorado; Oren at Vail, Colorado; 1 daughter Mrs. Vernon {Helene} Koch at Merritt Island, Florida; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
