Jerry Lee Ashby, 36, of Edmond, passed away at home on Monday of a heart attack. Jerry was born in Edmond where he attended Oklahoma Christian School and Edmond Memorial High. Jerry was a long time employee of Coy's Towing Wrecker Service. His passion was the outdoors where he spent the majority of his time hunting, fishing and four wheeling.
Jerry is preceded in death by his grandfather, Guy Rufis Ashby; his father, Bobby Joe Ashby.
He is survived by his grandmother, Ethel Lee Ashby; wife, Dixie Hagmaier; sons, Tyler Blake Ashby and Trent Donald Ashby all of Edmond; mother and step-father, Cora Belle and Ronald Lee Melton of Luther; step mother, Pamma Lee Ashby of Edmond; aunt, Suzanne Harlow and Russell Harlow of Guthrie; sisters, Jeanette Paige Russell of OKC and Joanna Sue Ashby; nephew, Dylan Ashby and niece Jasmine Ashby.
Services: Friday, Feb. 9, 2007 at Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond with interment following at Gracelawn Cemetery.
