Mae Bitter, age 93, passed away April 12, 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born October 20, 1903 in Logan, Utah to Charles and Printha Facer Bitter. Mae enjoyed bowling and loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews. An avid reader she lived in a world of books. She frequently traveled to New England to visit relatives. She was a very kind, loving and private person and a faithful member of the LDS Church. She will be dearly missed by family members and her friends at Highland Cove Retirement Center.
Survived by sister, Verna B. Pumphrey, brother, C. Eldon (Marjorie) Bitter, sister, Helen B. Groberg, brother, John (Margarete) Bitter, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by parents, and sister, Leah Bond.
Funeral services 2 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 1997 in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive, where friends may call 12:45-1:45 p.m. Thursday. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
