Mr. Trepanier was born in Fall River, son of the late Joseph L. and Gertrude (Clough) Trepanier and had resided in Westport for most of his life. A veteran of both World War II and the Korean Conflict, he served his country in the U.S. Navy as a member of the Seabees. Prior to his retirement in 1989, he worked as a postal worker for the USPS. He was a founding and lifetime member of the Watuppa Boat Club and a member of the Westport Council on Aging. He was a communicant of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Fall River and enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and gardening.
Survivors include his two sons: Armand Trepanier, Jr. of Assonet and William L. Trepanier of Westport; his two daughters: Janet D. Krobot of PA and Joyce L. Hegarty of NH; a brother: Allan Trepanier of Westport; two sisters: Gertrude Vigeant of Somerset and Claire Nadeau of CA; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Potter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
