Katharina (Weilbacher) Mueller was the 7th child born to German immigrants Johann & Johanna Weilbacher in Columbia, IL. On 16 Aug 1870, she married Martin Mueller at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia, IL. She had five children in Columbia (Frederic, Henry, Louisa, Joseph and Elizabeth). They used an Americanized version of their last name ("Miller"). In 1883 the Miller family moved to Cape Girardeau, Missouri. On 3 Feb 1884 she gave birth to a son, but sadly died in childbirth at just 32.
