Karl Clayton (KC) Jones peacefully passed away on April 2, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Ogden, Utah on March 23, 1941. He was the son of Randall Karl and Gladys Jacobs Jones.

He married his eternal companion, the love of his life, Sandra Fisher on May 6, 1961 in the St. George, Utah temple. Together they had seven children. He served in the National Guard. He worked for Associated Piping, TRW, Rockwell International and Boeing as a radiation safety inspector.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served as Bishop, in several bishoprics and in numerous church callings throughout his life. He and his wife recently served in the Ogden Utah Inner-city Mission.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, and dairy farming. He had a powerful handshake and a wonderful sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife Sandra and his children Derek Jones (Cheryl), Gina Harris (Dee), Willard BlueEyes (Teresa), Sherry Miller (Doug), Kerry Hansen (Steve), Kelly Bingham (Brian), and Randy Jones (Andrea). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way, his sister, Karla Jackson and brother William Kay Jones and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Kamille Miller, and a great-grandson, Payson Hood.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hooper 3rd Ward, 5801 S 6100 W, Hooper, Utah. Family and friends may visit Tuesday, from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m., prior to services.

Interment in Hooper Cemetery.

Services under the direction of Myers Roy Mortuary.
