Ralph E. Roe, 51, of Olathe, died Monday on the way to Lakeside hopital after apparently suffering a heart attack while driving westbound on I-435 near the Holmes street exit. Mr. Roe was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Roe was a laborer for the J. A. Tobin Construction company. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member and past commander of Foreign War post in Olathe. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Roe, and a son, Dick Roe, both of the home; a daughter, Cheryl Barnett, Olathe. His mother, Mrs. Mabel Roe, Olathe; three brothers, George Roe and Joe Roe, both of Olathe; and Kenneth Roe, Tacoma, Wash.; six sisters, Mrs. Virginia Pearson, Pasadena, Tex., Mrs. Doris Harvey, Hutchinson, Kas., Mrs. Mabel Vernon, 2105 Ellison, Independence, Mrs. Barbara Rodgers, Declo, Idaho, Mrs. Shirley Adams, Clarendon Hills, Illinois, and Mrs. Mary Spencer, Atchison, Kas., and one grandson. Services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Thursday at the Julien-Flaming-Amos chapel, Olathe; burial in the Oaklawn cemetery, here. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight at the chapel.
