Obituary - William H. Bedell, aged 83 years, who had served as sexton of the First Methodist church of Babylon for the past 55 years, died Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Hoernel, of heart disease from which he had suffered for a long period. He was a native of Hempstead, and came to Babylon to start a stone-cutting works. Besides the daughter with whom he lived, he leaves one other, Mrs. Ella A. Pedrick of Patchogue, and a son, Irving, of Babylon.
