Albert P. Archuleta, age 81, beloved husband, father and grandfather succumbed to his courageous battle with cancer on April 10, 2017.
Albert was born in Roy, NM to Cecilio and Gavina Archuleta. Albert was one of eight children.
Albert lived a long and fulfilling life. Albert loved the outdoors, horse racing and lest we forget - bingo was a must.
Albert is survived by his greatest loves, wife, Gloria, son, Michael and granddaughter, Trinity. Albert held a special place in his heart for those he loved as his own children, Lawrence Chávez and Pearl Richins. Also survived by his sister, Helen Ridley, her daughter, Edwina Flores, in-laws, Donna and Leo Córdova and many other special friends and family.
A celebration of his life will be held on April 19, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Albuquerque, NM. Viewing is at 7:30 a.m., Rosary at 8:00 a.m., Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. A family gathering will follow at the Archuleta home with burial to be conducted at Santa Fé National Cemetery in Santa Fé, NM at 2:15 p.m. Pallbearers will be Patrick Córdova, Tony Córdova, Dominic Córdova, Lawrence Chávez, Robert Archuleta and Patrick Travis.
