Vashie Green McClain was the daughter of Jeff Green and Lucy (Sawyers) Green, who were originally from Obion County Tennessee, and moved to Dunklin MO. Vashie was born in Missouri. She was the wife of Mr. Ethel McClain and the mother of two sons: Jimmy Dale McClain and Billy Joe McClain (1944-1967). She had two children by a previous marriage, Bobby Thomas Beeman (1928-2009) and Edith Beeman (1925-2002).
