Rosetta married first, Francis B. Huot, November 10, 1876 in Columbia, Tuscola, Michigan. They had at least two children: Frances W. and Luella Mary W Huot. Her husband Francis died unexpectedly May 29, 1880 in Sebewaing, before their daughter Luella was born.
Rosetta next married Martin Jewell, April 29, 1882 in Evart, Osceola, Michigan. Together they had at least three children: Charles C. Jewell, Ethel Maude Jewell and Edward J. Jewell.
On October 13, 1896 Rosetta married Birdsell "Bert" E. Smith in Grayling, Crawford, Michigan. It is not known if they had any children.
In the 1900 census Rosetta was living with Bert Smith in Lake Ann village, Benzie county, Michigan. At that time Rosetta stated that she'd had seven children, of whom five were still living. So there are two children unaccounted for.
In 1910 Rosetta was living with Bert in Almire, Benzie county Michigan. Her son Edward J. and her brother Daniel were also living with them at the time.
At some time before 1920 Rosetta moved to Alameda county, California where she is found with her daughter on the 1920 Federal Census. She died there November 6, 1921 and is buried at the Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland, California.
