26 Mar 1891: George Walker one of the oldest citizens of Marsh Creek died last Friday, March 20, 1891 at the age of 85 years, 10 mons, 16 days. Father of 26 children and was married twice. By his first wife 12 children were born and by his second wife 14, most of whom are said to be living. Interment at the Advent Cemetery. [Centre Democrat]
