Michael Burton “Mike” Duke
1947 - 2017

Mike was a high priest in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission in Texas and held many callings throughout his mortal existence. He loved the Gospel with all his heart. He was a master mechanic and loved to fix everything from icemakers to cars and trucks. He was most recently doing a full body restoration of a 1972 Chevy pickup. He was a master carpenter, general contractor, and worked as a maintenance mechanic for most of his working career. He was always glad to see you and welcome you with open arms. He was free with advice and help whenever you asked—or didn’t! He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The one thing Mike loved more than his 2007 Dodge Super Bee, was his wife and family. Michael Burton "Mike" Duke ended this chapter of his eternal journey on April 13, 2017, of complications due to cellulitis and sepsis. He was 70 years old.
Family Message: "Car enthusiasts never die, they just drive off into the sunset."
Survived By: The love of his life, Shelli (Ferguson) Duke; his children: Jeff (Angela), Misti, Shusti Dallin (Jared) and Dillon Atwood (Desi); his 15 grandchildren; his faithful dogs, Hemi and Snickers; and his five sisters: Karen, Teri, RoAnn, Tammy and Kaye.
Preceded In Death By: His beloved son, Scott; and his parents, Burton and Louise.
