Bob served his country with honor for over 20 years, and retired in 1977 to enter employment with the law firm of Sullivan and Cromwell in Washington, DC. Bob retired from Sullivan and Cromwell in 2005 and relocated to Tavares, Florida where he embarked on his final career – golf, a daily regimented routine, and just doing whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.
Bob is predeceased by his parents and a sister, Betty Root Hartman.
