A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Friday at the Hagi & Baker Funeral Home and from Noon until time of services Saturday.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Monsignor Philip Halfacre will officiate.
Interment will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Streator.
She was born on November 4, 1991 in Streator to Alfonso & Francisca (Lara) Acuna. She married Jose Sanchez on May 20, 2011. He survives.
She is also survived by a son, Sebastian Sanchez at home; her parents of Streator; 2 sisters: Rebecca Acuna and Elizabeth Acuna both of Streator; her in laws: Manuel & Maria Sanchez of Ottawa; 2 brother-in-laws: Abelino Sanchez of Ottawa and Paco Sanchez of Ottawa and a sister-in-law, Michelle Sanchez of Ottawa.
She was expecting her second son, Ezequiel Sanchez at the time of her passing, who also passed away.
She graduated from Streator Township High School in 2010. She was employed by Owen’s as a process checker.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.
Julia loved Rock-N-Roll and Christian Music but especially loved her son and her husband.
