Parents of Iver were Gerhome & Elizabeth {Isbell} Ostrander. He was married to Ethel Clark Bennet in 1905. To this marriage there were 13 children, all born in California. His wife preceded him in death in 1929. He then married Rosa Lena McMahan, who died in 1936. At the time of his death he was a patient at the Weimar Joint Sanatorium in Weimar, Placer County, California. Iver died 23 Feb. 1944 of Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Buried at I.O.O.F. Odd Fellows Lawn Cemetery, 2720 Riverside Blvd., Sacramento, Sacramento County, California. Grave 9, Lot 187, Section D.
