Annie Caranci, 91, formerly of Joslin Street, a spinner for the former Allendale Mill Co. in North Providence for many years until retiring in 1967, died Tuesday at the Hopkins Manor in North Providence.
She was the widow of Pasco Caranci.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Ralph and Philomena (Phillipone) Zompa, she had lived most of her life in Providence before moving to North Providence 25 years ago.
She was a communicant of Mary, Mother of Mankind Church in North Providence.
Mrs. Caranci is survived by sister.
She was the sister of the late Thomas, Ralph, Elizabeth, Margaret Zompa, and Mary DeSimone.
