Ralph Zampa, 75, of 1580 Cranston St., an ironworker for the Washburn Wire Co., East Providence, for 33 years, retiring in 1972, died yesterday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Anne (Patriarca) Zampa.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Ralph and Philomena (Phillpone) Zampa, and had lived in Cranston 43 years.
Mr. Zampa was a member of the Ironworkers Union. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, a brother, two sisters and three grandchildren.
